This place, with its character of infrastructure, becomes a kind of machine that breaks into and dominates a “natural” territory, generating non-places and residual spaces.
The piece is made up of approximately 72 prints in A4 format that, arranged as an installation, trace a route or recomposition of the fragmented landscape. The photographs, in turn, are fragmented and abstracted, both in their form and in their color palette. The absence of the cyan color stands out, referring to the difficulty of finding the river in its original channel, thus underlining the transformation and manipulation of the environment by human intervention. This work invites us to reflect on the relationship between infrastructure and the landscape, questioning our perception and relationship with the built environment.
Este lugar, con su carácter de infraestructura, se convierte en una especie de máquina que irrumpe y domina un territorio “natural”, generando no-lugares y espacios residuales.
La pieza se compone de aproximadamente 72 impresiones en formato A4 que, dispuestas a modo de instalación, trazan un recorrido o recomposición del paisaje fragmentado. Las fotografías, a su vez, están fragmentadas y abstraídas, tanto en su forma como en su paleta de colores. Destaca la ausencia del color cian, que hace referencia a la dificultad de encontrar el río en su cauce original, subrayando así la transformación y manipulación del entorno por la intervención humana. Esta obra nos invita a reflexionar sobre la relación entre las infraestructuras y el paisaje, cuestionando nuestra percepción y relación con el entorno construido.
